We are Spartan Strong!
Our mission at Center Cass School District 66 is to challenge, inspire, and empower each learner to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally - today, tomorrow, and always.
For the past two years (2019 & 2020), Lakeview Junior High has received a commendable designation on its School Report Card. This is attributed to the dedication to growing our students academically, socially, and emotionally. Designations are based on assessment, attendance, course and grade data, climate survey participation, and graduation data.
Nine "Spartan Historians" advanced to the State History Fair! This year's theme was "Communication in History". Seventh grade student projects were turned into a "Virtual" History Fair for 2021.
Lakeview Jr. High was named National History Day Illinois School of the Year for 2017. Seventh grade social studies teacher, Jake Little, was named 2018 James F. Harris History Teacher of the Year.
