Changing to a system that provides more than a letter grade is an enormous shift for students, teachers, and parents. It is a shift that is necessary for students to be intrinsically motivated to learn, discover, and create. We want students that own their learning, are empowered to grow, and inspired to make meaningful change in our world. D66 has used the feedback we have received to improve our competency based system for next year.
