This is what being in Band is all about. In the Spring of 2019 the Lakeview Bands traveled to Atlanta, GA. Although the focus of the trip was to perform and compete, and we did GREAT, the bigger outcome were the experiences and memories made throgh music. There are few activities that kids this age can participate in that can have such a positive impact on them for a long time. They may not remember the outcome of the festival but they will remember the bus ride, amusement park, historical sights, and being with their friends for four days. They will have this memory forever. Want your child to experience the joys of music, get them involved in band where EVERYONE is a part of the success! New band members are always welcome!

Zombies The Musical is coming soon!!! Lakeview students are working hard on their choreography for our Virtual Musical!!! More information on our "release date" to come!!!

Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their 7-0 win over Cass!

Intramural golf kicked off at Lakeview today! Even with the cold weather, we had a great session indoors and socially distanced. Bring on the warm weather!

Band is Back! We are often asked how we do band while staying safe? Well, we have been using face masks with accomodations for brass and woodwind players, face shields for our flute players, and bell covers for all of our wind instruments. It has not been easy but the band students have adapted well. Eventually we will not have to use them but for now, it allows us to make music together. A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Amy Vano for her time and talents in making our instrument masks for us. Can't wait to share our music with our community.

Lakeview soccer is back in action!! The boys took a 10-1 win in tonight’s season opener over Gower.

Art Club met in-person this week! Can't wait to see their final artwork!

My sixth grade advisory was so excited today, the whole group is in person together for the first time! Lots of happy faces :)

The 6th Grade Concert Band finally had the opportunity to get the year started as a group. It was great to see the students playing together and making music as a band!! We are so excited to be back!

Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade band students on their first rehearsal since last March. We are so proud of this group who worked all year through some difficult situations. We are thrilled that they stuck with it to be the start of something new again. They are our future and we could not be more proud. We hope to share our music with you soon.

Band Rehearsals will begin next week!! We are so excited to begin rehearsals with our 5th - 8th Grade Band students. All participating band students should have their playing PPE. Check with Mr. T or Mr. O if you still need it for rehearsal. Can't wait to get started.
