Calling all CCSD66 artists! Get ready to submit your artwork to the 50th Annual Creative Youth Art Fair hosted by the Darien Woman’s Club — a community tradition celebrating student talent from CCSD66 and surrounding areas.
From paint and drawing to photography and 3D art. Whether you’re in kindergarten or high 8th grade, this is your moment to shine and have your work celebrated by neighbors, friends, and art lovers alike.
Due to the National Weather Service Extreme Cold Warning, there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026. School will resume on Monday, January 26th. Friday will be a traditional day off school (snow day), thus there are no student responsibilities for academic work tomorrow through District 66. Our last day of school will tentatively be Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Stay warm.

Staff came together today to prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, and it was great to see so many smiling faces! Dr. Wise shared words of appreciation, and Board President Brian Liedtke delivered a heartfelt message alongside Board Members Megan DuPass and Adam Sage. Staff also enjoyed breakfast from a waffle truck and spent time in Lakeview’s updated common area. It’s a fantastic start to the year!
